The Forum is Down

As if you didnt already know the forum has been down, for a couple of days. I tried contacting service provider and they claim they cant fix it. Im not sure what to do at the moment, Im about to reset the forum with new software. I this means more interesting topics to talk about and even more internet bullying will happen.

Fresh Paint

There's nothing like fresh paint, to give an old bike a new look. I got my 20" early last year, I originally brought it used. The frame was spray painted white, so I stripped the white and painted it black.  The color was ok, but it got scratched up after a while and didnt match the bars or fork. The bars were purple and fork was a deeper black than the frame. I stripped the paint off the bars and fork so they could at least match, but I wasnt happy with the results. It look ok if it was a beater, but this bike was no throw away bike. I made the choice of getting a fresh power coating. I really didnt want black, and I needed something to match the grey camo rims and gold hubs. My color choice was Battleship Grey. I think it came out dope, its very neutral looking, with camo rims and gold hubs as accents its going to be a fun bike to kick around this summer.

NYC Freeride Light Weight Glory Hole 2008 are Out!!!

 racelites

I swung by Racer's Edge this week to drop off my bike to be worked over before the season starts. And while looking over the glass for new I see the new 2008 Glory Holes by NYC Freride. The bigger difference I noticed was the weight, these thing were like BMX light, so you know they were light. They still look like they will rip to shred your shin if they ever come in contact with any exposed skin. So run down to Racer's Edge or contact NYC Freeride and get your pair, before they're all gone.

OOPS! These are Glory Holes not Race Lites, those will be out next month.
