10.23.03: Halloween 2003 Critical Mass Party

Halloween 2003 Critical Mass Party
Friday October 31, Halloween Day
9 p.m., Long Island City, Queens NYC
42-16 West St. (Corner of Jackson Ave and Queens Blvd)
Just over the Queensboro Bridge

The third annual Halloween Critical Mass after-party falls on Halloween day, and will be the biggest yet. This year Time's Up! is teaming with the awesome party throwers of complacent.org to bring you a Halloween bash you'll never forget!
The Halloween Critical Mass will end in Long Island City where you will be greeted by: Hungry March Band, outdoor Haunted House by Madagascar Institute and Tall Bike Jousting by Black Label. Inside will be spooked out by multiple performances and DJs in a labyrinth of different rooms. DJs include Saskai, Kid Kameleon, Ripley, Jason BK, Grimace and Chrome. Post punk live sound clash brought by Torch Job, Jesse Kudler and full performance by Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir.
Of course the Critical Mass is free, but the after party is going to cost you $7 with a costume and $10 without. Admission goes-up after 10:00. Group costumes will be hailed and rewarded. If there are any profits after all costs have been accounted for the Time's Up! portion will be used for furthering Critical Mass.

Dont forget Critical Mass lands on Halloween, so I can imagine all the craziness thats going to happen when you mix 2000+ bikers, costumes, and Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. Some people had ideas for costumes, best one I heard, that we should dress up like SWAT or something similar. Think about it we have the padding and helmets, just add some all black clothing; ie cargo pants & shirt, and BAM instant SWAT costume. Tell me what you think on the forum…
I hope no one missed out on the great weather we had this weekend, I know I didnt. Once again as a reminder this weekend a XC Race will be happening at Blue Mountain. As cheesy as it might sound, a few us will be competing in it, so come out race too or at least support your fellow riders because somebody has to rep NYC.

OK, OK, I didn't get a chance to upload any videos, but I did add a Forum. I have only two categories for now but will add more soon. As a reminder the guest book will be deleted in a week. And we cant forget this now you can upload your own photos too.
