e.thirteen components unveils its brand new web site, which includes the revamped preassembled 2006 SRS and STS systems, and the popular DRS dual ring system. Additionally, this is the public’s first close look at the new pre-assembled LG1, SST, and 32Special chain retention systems. The new web site also introduces the Guide Picker, a first-of-its-kind tool that helps riders choose the best chain retention system for their bike.

The new guide picker is a first of its kind and is another example of e.thirteen’s dedication to leading the industry in customer support. Technical Support Manager Jonas Mikolayunas adds, “My job is to work with riders and shops to help make their riding experience as enjoyable as possible. I help them to select and set up the correct e.thirteen system for their needs. With the wide variety of frames and crank sets available, choosing the right chain retention system and then setting it up correctly can be a daunting task for a rider who is new to the sport. Our new Guide Picker, easy to use fit charts, and downloadable bike specific instructions help take the guesswork out of chainguides. The fact that all of our single ring guides come fully assembled from the factory makes e.thirteen chain retention systems easier to install and fit more frames than any other system available in the world. The end result is easier installation for dealers and more riding time for riders. ”

The new web site provides detailed information for the redesigned and refined ISCG05-compatible 2006 SRS and LG1 single ring systems that were raced to World Cup and World Championship wins during testing in 2005. It also includes a simple-to-use instruction database as well the rest of the e.thirteen component lineup. For 2006, the SRS and STS are lighter and quieter, with new stainless hardware, redesigned composite sliders, lighter back plates, and the new one-piece silent Tech2 Stealth Idler. Although the LG1 (Lightweight Guidance 1 Ring) is new for 2006, it has proven itself to handle the speeds and rigors of the world’s fastest courses, winning the 2005 World Championships in Livingno, IT. For street, trials, and park riders, e.thirteen unveils the new 32Special system, designed for 32T chainrings with increased ground clearance over the already low profile and competition winning STS. The ultimate in street guides, the SST (Super Street) sports a19mm three-piece spindle specific 26T Crownwheel and Micro-Drive Supercharger.
