probly becuz they make more money over there than here everytime someone needs something from a frame, part or a simple axel for a 150.00 shinburgers , they say "no sorry not at this time". customer service sucks, maybe if it was better they would sell more.f*(k you bitches. Oh i forgot, those bitches did not want to replace my shiftoid stem after it developed a hairline crack.

The hand made pedals were kool but the newer ones for around $90 are like....
"ICE SKATES"
Besides some one brought to my attention the other day that everyone with a brooklyn these days are selling them.
If they are so hot then why do they have like a two year appreciation. Why dont the owners hold on to them and get a second or third bike? Why are they always being sold or "attempted to be sold"?
?

with all the bomb proof bike designs , i dont see how spending all that loot on their frames is justified. i think its the whole name brand thing . i only rode a flight of stair on one once , and it was plush.. but not for the weight penalty and cost.

Brooklyn bikes are great, but they are not necessary. There's no point spending so much money when you can buy a superior bike for less.

I've always liked Brooklyn frames, I still do, but they cost twice as much as they should. I'd never buy one.

Intense M1 2850 frame 269 saint cranks/BB 199 MRP 295 floating brake $ 3563 (all that scratch and you got a 5th or 6 way)
Foes Mono (atleast this has a decent shock) 3100 frame/floating brake/Ti curnut 229 MRP 200 cranks $3529
While on the high end of the equipment spectrum, neither of the above bikes are going to be too much lighter than a RL. they cost about the same. they are light, mono-suck construction that will fatigue, dent/damage and sound like a smashed alumuinum can while Dhing compared to the BMW. it is a no brainer.

Also they are race proven and meet world cup standards.

i always thought that brooklyns* are really speacialty bike. pretty much just a name, a lure of extream peformance, and a dissapointment to people that expected alot more then what they got. they pretty much are just a "high status" item in the bike world just like a ferrari is in the car world. I enjoy looking at brooklyns, there hot, but then again, i would never buy one......
***im taking about he full suspension frames....no offence intended.

***im taking about he full suspension frames....no offence intended. Brooklyns are bombproof and reliable - they are great bikes, but there are other bikes that perform as well or better more cheaply. However - brooklyn you just dont worry about your frame! and if you put an Avy fork or Monster T you pretty much just have to worry about wheels and handlebars (and small parts) because your sh!t aint gonna break. Banshee has a similar approach but comes from a different base.... Too spensive - (BMW) but no denying they are great stuff... Customer service, I dunno - it seems to me all the big BMW riders are somewhat down with one or all of the 3 BMW guys...
