For Firefox, Safari and even poor IE users! Smiley
FireFox 3 is now in beta and it's faster, smaller and even more customizable than the current 2.x version.

They want to set a Guinness record for the most software downloads in 24 hours when it's released. Go pledge your download here: http://www.spreadfirefox.com/en-US/worldrecord/

@Vas/v-digit  You're missing out - give it a try with FF2 - it's faster than 1.x and much more  customizable (lots of plugins). From what I remember the upgrade is pretty seamless except for a few plugins that may be incompatible.
Here's a list of my FF2 plugins: http://www.yavno.info/MyDocuments/FFBackups/FEBEresults.html

How is Ubuntu working out for you? I have a old laptop where I am thinking about running it and hopefully speeding up the computer by having less crap on it.

the download day is today. I already did - it's pretty snappy with a few cool features, though a few of my extensions are not supported yet.
Here's the download counter too, just hit 2.2 mil downloads. Do it!

'

that was the idea i had in mind when i first installed it on an old 500mhz pentium 3 machine. it worked great...faster then win 2000 pro, and win 2000 pro was one of the leanest OS's microsoft produced..

dooo it.
