Youll need to look for lucky....he has one and knows everything about them....not on the forum as much these days but you can see him on the streets/creek/platty......rides a blue super8 with a boxer....also try Chun , but hes out of commision for awhile too.....

i had one before and the travel felt like crap, so i got rid of it and traded chun.
rumor has it that balfa no longer exsist.
The new owners(rocky mountain) dont think they should make them anymore.

I saw Lucky the other day and rode his. It's the first fully I felt comfortable on but his is a 7.5" travel bike. I also wanted to get some other opinions. I read a lot about bad pullies, bent shock mounts and mushy travel as well as limited springs but 9 out of 10 reviews/people that owned it loves it and swears by it.... over Super 8's and Bullits? ? Shocked the sh!t outta me? You think RM's going to kill Balfa P.3? |

Balfa BB7=downhill oriented

yo smokey, if u want me to spit about the balfa well truthly it's a kickass frame if ya gonna get the newer ones like lucky's or the years after b/c the bottom bracket on the older ones are low and if u plan to rock 24"s, no good. I had the older one and when went dhing with it, i would get hung up on some obstacles. I think it's a well built frame and rides very well but yeah word of mouth the pullies on that gets mangled and looose. Well that goes every dh rig right? Are u planning to purchase lucky's frame??
