Today, roughly around 3pm, Donelle got attack while riding. It happened in Prospect Park, not sure on all the details, till I speak to him. All I know he was stabbed in the back by two snot-nose punks, he made his way to a Parks Dept Office, they called for emergency help. He was rushed to hospital and was admitted for surgery to closed the wound. The bike wasn't taken, but was the attended target. He's recovering, hope to see him tomorrow with a few other people.
The story was "Eyewitness News: 7 Channel" @ 11pm, but it will repeat @ 2:30am, which I will record for the archives. If anybody happens to read the story in the papers, please save it, so I can scan it.
I will keep you posted with any details I have.
Ps. please people be careful while riding out there...

you that attack could have happen anywhere, to any of us and just to think that happened on the quote on quote "the good side of the park". Prospect is a great place to ride and chill, but crap like this happens everywhere, not just in Prospect.

Just saw the news, crazyy... I thought he was on his parkbike, but then it turns out he was on his "SCREAM" with 02 monsters...
I got a lil video, a lil messed up and all but u can see wtf is going on. I just gotta find a way to host it.

He hasn't ridden the Park since late spring, since he got the Banshee Morphine HT. I was planning to put the video up, but after talking with Donelle first. He's in Kings County Hospital.

two thugs stabbed a man in the back yesterday in the back near a ball field in prospect park yesterday,police said.
the 19-yo victim ,whose name was not released , was riding his bicycle near 11th street and prospect park west,when two men attacked him around 3:15 pm,cops said.
he was rushed to kings county hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Jesus. What a load of crap that is. I think about all the times I've ridden the trails alone in that park. Never again.
Best wiches to Donelle for a speedy recovery, I would apprciate you guys sharing as much information as you have about this. I am not above beating someone's nutsack to pieces with a pedal wrench.

They say that his bike was stolen , or am i informed wrong...Yesterday they showed on ABC7 News and the bike looked just fine in Donelle father's hands.... :wacko:
