What kind of setup jump is there? Looks like you might be able to transfer onto that other landing next to it. They won't let you ride there on the revel?

place is a 20 minute pedal up the hill, those jumps are at out 500-1000ft elevation The mountain tops out at about 2000ft the whole place is very rough almost every other feature there is rough, hard, small, stepdowny landings, drops to flat, or high speed the approach is high speed 22 and 25 footers (that's 45-50 in pinkbike feet) much better real djs places for true ht riding basically its not a ht dj spot, you could drag a bike up there, but that doesnt mean its a good idea this jump is bucking i'm soo fast, check out my whip/jammin salmon, mindset, but u still need a white royal jersey with speed stripes, kyle straight knees, and full face and 48" wide bars to approach it pacifica boy scout youtube some videos if you need to seem more of the flavor

I shoulda hammered in another bar in the middle as it's bowed now, too late, 3 should do it for next time THose were 10ft sections, in a few feet deep, with a hand sledge... good thing theres not too many rocks there Either gonna hammer in more, once built and settled or cut with hacksaw and I've used them and the fence to stack the logs, pulling them out seems like it cause more trouble Will make sure the ends aren't sticking out
Gonna use the least amount of dirt as possible, theres already a tremendous amount there and they are not "pit, water catcher jumps" so it's even more work, still need lots of dirt w/out filling in
Right now, it's the rainy season out here, so place is a bit muddy, water supply is scare to non existent most of the year

Looks like you officially took over that spot. Great idea using beefy construction parts for the foundation. We can't get away with all that loud hammering here in the pit. That seems to be the trend now using the least amount of dirt possible, but still having big smooth transitions. Keep us posted on the new jump testing.

Wow, on every trail in the world there is some winning t-bag complaining about something. You should show him the pics of SI when there was a whole store front burried in the landing by tons of dirt. Of corse the rebar looks crazy sticking out but after it's covered nobody will even know it's there. I want to hang tree huggers like that up to dry when I hear all that disturbing natural vibes bs. I'm sure cali has no shortage of nature goons, if they're soo green then why are they riding a manufactured metal beast of a bike around.

I've been training an army here, some of them can almost work independently - slapping up dirt - shaping - using clean dirt - if it looks like it will fall apart, it will, make thick, supported and make it last theres still some naiveness that I'm trying to shake out of their heads, it's tough, but I need their cooperation - dont move the dirt around on the jumps/dont double handle/put it the right place the first time - try not shoot the shit with passerbys, they like to distract and just slows you down, and we only have limited windows for digging - dont transport dirt from far away, wheelbarrow nor not, waste of time and effort, just dig close, but not too close - dont drag leaves or other stuff in the digging pits, someone will just have to clean out later - JUST ADD MORE VOLUME - JUST ADD MORE VOLUME - JUST ADD MORE VOLUME - JUST ADD MORE VOLUME - JUST ADD MORE VOLUME

Dig day 7, rallied 5 dudes to go out there with lights at night Natural Vibes got involved and *tried* to remove the rebar, then only were able to get on of them out And they dragged some pallettes up there in place It's pretty much done, bigger than gossamer, just needs some rain , whcih we should be getting in the next few days, its the wet season out there and maybe one more dig day and shaping
No pics
This jump will have a twitter account along with rss feeds

Some boost on that thing. We just got more snow. More wet snow. More useless, wet, NYC, slushy-ass, gray, dog poo littered snow.
