I have checked plenty of forums on this and everyone says something different. Either its stupid or they love the responsiveness depending on the frame I do not really want to buy a new frame, I contacted Mountain cycle and they said it would be fine . Just would like to hear some opinions

Depends on your frame geo, and chainstay length. Slam the rear wheel close as possible and maybe lower your fork. 24's are lighter and stronger, and shorten the bikes overall length, making it fit into tight areas better.
