Long suffering from a %$#&@)?@%&*! POS neighbor, and fed up.
I am looking for a decent 1br (or 2) for reasonably cheap.
Max, say 1300 - somewhere I dont need to carry a gun, walk 15 mins to subway, or bus to subway it.
There's plenty out there, but so much has brokers fees and I wont pay that rape fee so someone can open a door and let me look at something I already knew was there...........
so, seriously, if you know anything, anyone, a good location -- I would appreciate it GREATLY!

Iggy should put a no fee cribs section on BBR My neighbor has a place opening up soon for around 1200, I'll check it out and see if it's clean, or still available. In park slope BK. I was thinking of taking it to get out of my expensive lease. My landlord has a couple buildings also, so I'll ask him. We need get some no fee apartments on this site to help peeps out. fuck a broker fee.

I know you don't want to use a broker, but if you can find one you can trust, they'll find the best deal. My friend and my brother both found SICK deals on apartments through a broker. Sure they had to pay like 2 payments of w/e their rent is, but it was sooo worth it.

Im opposed to the concept, and wont support the BS rental market -- Its ludicrous that the service(s) are benefitting the landlord, not the tenant, and the rate is ridiculous. That market will never change as long as we submit to it!
REVOLUTION!
No-Fee is the key, I can very much afford it, but - refer to above - and I'd rather put it toward a car or new bike or something that actual realizes the value of the expense.

man, i'll say it again. craigslist is the way. i've found my last few apartments that way - never a fee. if there are fake listings, i havnt seen them - or perhaps if someone is offering a 2br for 900 in lower east side, you should KNOW its BS. dont pay a broker - put that money towards a big ass tv..... wait a second....that sounds familiar - oh, thats right, thats how i got my 42"

1 bedroom just opened up. 750.00
i love living in New Windsor. Less asshole factor up here. No loud music or gun fire like my old apartment on Fordham rd.
the city is a hour train ride away.
