Hi Folks,

Flying Squirrel and I will be hosting a trail work session this Saturday from noon till dusk.

We'll be working on the pump and jump trail.

It's a trail that has a pump line to the right and a small jump line to the left.

We have finished the pump line and we're 60% done with the jump line.

We just need to build one more tabletop, two hip jumps and a big berm to finish it off.

Come by and help out if you can.

We're meeting at 210th St and 67th Ave at noon but if you want to come late, ride the trails until you find us. We'll be at the entrance to the Iguana Trail on the east side (northern end).

If you want to take the F train to the where it ends at 179th St then ride east along Hillside one block to Midland Parkway then head north (right) to 188th St then left, then to 73rd Ave and make a right. Go to 210th St and make a left and the trailhead is at 67th Ave. It's only a 2 mile trip from the train.

Pizza will be provided by the local bike shops.

We also have plans for a skills practice area and a flow rider (jump oriented) trail. It depends what kind of winter we're going to have but we'll work whenever possible.

Alot of the trails need some work. I was on a trail saturday and even ran into a large hunk of metal that is half burried right in the middle of a trail. Alot of huge ruts from mudders. Other than that its a good park and i go there every weekend.
