The Cliff Cat sounds like a good deal.  Any frame will crack if you have alot of harsh landings on it.  You might consider buying a frame from a shop so you can service and warranty it easier.  So many nice new DH bikes, I would be happy with almost any production Dh rig.  Bottom line is you have to anti up with some $ if you want a reliable bike. Cheap used deals won't last through huge hucking to flats.. etc.

Gideon is selling this frame for real cheap. Single pivot with a floating brake, very similar to the super8. It also comes with back wheel 26". Finally get you on some proper 26's and save the 24's for street.
