This frame looks real good, but that's like choosing street over DH? What do you want to ride more? u + DH = DUH !

i had my eye on the fly for a minute and was looking to update my tube.  i also hear that the 07 fly will be a 2:1  but will see what i fianlly decide on.  but i would love a ht to kick around with , being a foes i know its going to cost some loot. If i decide on getting the ht my  dreams of a fly will fly away.

just for the record my tube is  still holding up being a 2001 .  and gerald did a great job with cleaning out on pivots.

Those Foes HT are old news. They sell for (if i remember correctly) between $900-$1200 each...foes doesnt sell individual frames either. you need to order a minimum of five or six. i read this about 6 months ago on mtbr so my info might be old news too Smiley.

try again bud

foes ht might be old news as a prototype ,
the zigzag which they stopped making a few years ago sold for 800 for the ht.

and i bought my tube DIRECT from bret . i talked to him myself in which he had np problem sending my frame to my house or a dealer.

the thing about min next year as in 07  they will be sold as any other frame they make.

i apprecaite the link but  2 things one its a med / old style (breakaway archs)
                                       and
                                                  two its used.

if i spend the loot on a fly it will be a new small. love small frames , like a big bmx with suspension. raced bmx for years its what im used to.

Codynyc,

Your going to love the Fly. I've had mine for going on 2 yrs now (explains my bbr name) and had no prob yet. As far as it cracking, I heard about it (mostly the early one I think)…but mine has been rock solid. It performed perfectly at whistler and the creek and platty. I'll be using it for xcntry ride this sat, you'll find it very versatile. It won't replace a hardtail though… Sad.

By the way when I was up a whistler, some guy was cool enough to let me ride his new 2005. As I pick it up I asked him if he notice the crack along the swing-ling /top tube…he was shocked. He mentioned that he was riding it under sprung…since he got it with the wrong spring weight. So be sure to dble check all your spec's, as any bike can break.

I don't regret spending the money on my foes at all, it was and still is worth every penny.

peace.

cool man thanks for the info

foes  are great bikes i bought mine new in 2001  .dont think i would every by a different company. DH slammer  and its been rock soild . if he got a crack in the frame and its a 2005 he can always send it to foes . think it is a 2 year crash replacment.

we should link up and ride sometime. sunday im going to saxon with messenger mike   lil al from sids and a few freinds . should be there around 4   nice easy ride with some drops. you should come through.
