Tour of Utah Bicycle Race Postponed

SALT LAKE CITY – March 30, 2007, – The Board of Directors of the Tour of Utah bicycle race announced today that this year’s event will be postponed.

While enthusiasm and support for the Tour of Utah continues to be high, after several months of aggressive sales and marketing efforts, the management team was unable to secure the required level of sponsorship support needed to produce the multi-stage race they had planned. Based on initial feedback from potential sponsors, the race organizers believe that postponing the race will allow the time necessary to secure sufficient sponsor support to produce the race.

Highbridge Trails & Jumps Update

Just in case you didn't know, but plenty of work has been made to create a legal cross country/ free trail and dirt jumps in NYC. This has been brought to by the guys at nycmtb.org & climbonline.org . There's going to be an opening celebration on May 19th and XC Race on the 20th.

Three new competitions including a women's only Pro/Am event expand festival lineup

The world's best mountain bikers will roll into Whistler, BC for the fourth annual Kokanee Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival July 21-29. Whistler will be ground zero for nine full days of world class mountain bike events, free daily concerts and a wide range of action throughout the village for all ages including a legendary party scene.
